As a film genre, alternative pornography has a history. It is rich with exploration of an erotic vocabulary often stifled by mainstream porn norms. Delving into the catalog of the distribution company Light Cone, we have selected a series of films – on celluloid or not – to craft a journey through forms and eras. From the 1960s to today, this kaleidoscopic screening showcases some of the whimsies that male and female filmmakers reserve for sexuality on screen. Explicit animation films, re-appropriation of found footage porn, multiplication of a clip with kitschy eroticism, or simply tenderly filmed sexual exchange are some elements of this trip alongside glimpses of naked bodies. A session full of playfulness, jokes, poetry, tenderness... and sex, of course!
