LAP DANCE FOR US
A workshop to explore the dynamics of lapdance, or the art of fucking brains.
A workshop for dancing, laughing, breaking retinas, playing with our movements and erotic potential. A workshop to give ourselves moments that we never - or far too rarely - have as people with unusual genders, bodies and sensualities. To give and receive dances with desire and respect, in a group, together, between strangers and acquaintances, one beside the other.
Each participant will be in the position of giving and receiving in turn.
After warming up and getting into the swing of things, practice will be in pairs: dancing or receiving the dance, playing with looks, dynamics of power and control of the situation, distance and proximity, contact or not.
Throughout the workshop, we will take care to express the desires and limits of the givers and receivers. To do this, we'll negotiate before each dance so that we can then dance joyfully, lightly and warmly, giving each other these lap dances, for us.
Come along with your favourite outfit! You can change on the spot.
Workshop for adults only
You're welcome to come with your current state, your mental and physical health, your enthusiasm or lack of it, your libidos or lack of them; with your different backgrounds, your wealth, your strengths, your sadness, your desires and your abysses. Come with us. This workshop is designed to take care of you.

Ève Magot is a trans artist, dancer, choreographer and teacher. She is the creator of hybrid pieces combining dance, performance, poetry and DIY, in which she can live and share utopias, here and now, fighting with perseverance, strength and gentleness to transform the world towards greater justice and equality. She works in the institutional dance field as well as the sex work.
