This screening offers a journey through the history of pornography while providing introspection on the genre explored. From an original documentary tracing the history of this cinema to a short film giving voice to director Tom DeSimone on images from a lost porn movie, and including a montage of 1960s archives discovered in the cellars of a gay fetish club, emerges a genealogy of sexualities, a memory of minority places, and, implicitly, restrictions imposed on erotic practices. From hidden places to spaces of freedom far from repressive controls, the act of recording on film seems to come from a salvatory impulse to affirm one's existence. The explicit form becomes a political medium, a tool for affirming community consciousness. In this session where the subject of the films is pornography itself, a contemporary creation questions the dominant tropes of an industry too often normative, inviting to an engaged and feminist pornography, while a young boy manipulates images from the past to build the constellation of a present desire. A screening that reminds us that representation through images is a source of affirmation and agency today as it was yesterday.

PROJECTION OF PORN
Celeste Fitts, Diego Tigrotto / IT / 2023 / 7min / DCP / OV IT ST FR🇧🇪 Belgian Premiere
"Mainstream vs indie: during a screening, the projection of a pornographic product takes life.
“The projection mechanism is a concealment of a positive or negative content that the individual should recognise, but rejects for a certain reason. For example, because of underestimation of self or because the content is immoral.”"
GOOD BOY
Marco Antonio Núñez / CL / 2023 / 9min / DCP / NO DIAL🇧🇪 Belgian Premiere
The author's erotic imagination is mixed between desire and magazine clippings, and the trade of collage becomes a ship that travels from outer space to the city itself.
